SHE SAID DESTROY: 'Focused On Songwriting'

December 23, 2006

Guitarist Anders "Ugmod" Bakke of the Norwegian extreme metallers SHE SAID DESTROY has issued the following update:

"We did the last gig of 2006 in November with ENSLAVED and NOXAGT — had a blast. Since then we're focused on songwriting, piecing ideas together and sweating over our guitars to come up with both clever and not so clever riffs. We will hit the studio sometime in 2007, no idea when just yet.

"Other than that, we're hard at work work trying to line up shows for 2007. Not much confirmed yet, but we're hoping to get around Europe a bit first half of 2007.

"If anyone reading this might be interested in booking a show or more, or have a tip on venues or promoters that might be interested, drop me a line.

"2006 has been crammed with activity for us; it's been our busiest year ever and we've had a great time all the way through. A big cheerio and see you soon to all the new people we've met this year while touring. I hope 2007 will be even more hectic."

SHE SAID DESTROY's debut album, "Time like Vines", was released in Europe in April via Nocturnal Art Productions.
